Tesla CCS Adapter Price Drop to $175

• The adaptor is not available to all Tesla owners. Certain pre-2020 vehicles need a refit, which Tesla has proposed but hasn’t started putting into practice yet.

• The cost of the necessary retrofit for older Tesla vehicles to use the CCS adaptor and use other charging stations has been disclosed by Tesla.

Although Tesla last week lowered the price of the tesla ccs adapter to $175, which is helpful, if your car was manufactured before October 2020, you will still need to pay $450 for both the converter and the new charging ECU.
